Today we are going to prepare a typical Ecuadorian Christmas sweet "Bueñuelos"


They look amazing and delicious, this recipe is excellent for Christmas. I am going to explain what it is about. This delicious dessert is composed of 2 parts, the first is the elaboration of the candy and the other is the elaboration of the dough in a circular shape. 

The ingredients you need are the following:
Honey candy:
-  Panela
- 1 liter of water
- 2 pieces of cinnamon

For the dough
- 1/2 of water
- 1 liter of milk
- 3 eggs 
- flour
- oil 
- yeast
- butter 

First, place 1 liter of hot water in a pot.
Then add half a spoonful of yeast and wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to dissolve.
In the meantime, we prepare the honey. 
- Then in a pot, place 1 liter of water, with the 2 cinnamon sticks.
then we add all the cubed cinnamon and we wait until it has an adequate density.
Then, after the time has elapsed, we add 2 eggs and beat it well.
Then, we add 2 to 3 cups of flour to the mixture.
Then, we mix by hand for a better consistency, in case the consistency is too liquid, we add spoonfuls of butter.
Then, in a frying pan placed on the stove, add enough oil.
Then, with the help of a spoon we take out a spoonful of the mixture, at the moment of frying they will acquire a rounder shape.
Then, fry until it has a golden color and remove it with a strainer to remove the excess oil.
Finally, we serve our balls with a drizzle of honey and if you wish you can add a piece of cheese to accompany them.
